The Pajama Game at The Blue Parrot Theatre
The New Blue Parrot Productions is launching it's 2010 season with the Children's Theatre production of the broadway classic 'The Pajama Game'.
The Pajama Game opens the doors to the Sleep Tite Pajama Factory in in the spring of 2010 here in Clark County. Sid, the handsome new manager runs afoul of the feisty and headstrong Babe, leader of the Union Grievance Committee. Their dispute over a 7 1/2 cent raise is complicated by a budding romance, which parallels the ups and downs of the labor/ management negotiations while turning the workplace into a the ideal musical comedy background. This is an evening of non-stop familiar Broadway pop standards of the '50's including 'Steam Heat', 'Hey There' and 'Hernando's Hideaway' filled with dance number after dance number.
The Blue Parrot Children's Theatre productions function as a workshop developing positive character traits on and offstage.
