***** NEWS UPDATE *****

For those of you who may have missed it on the news or in the paper , there was a burglary in the 3800 block of 27th Avenue. The garage door was open and one of the perpetrators entered the house around 3:30 PM. The homeowner was home, confronted the burglars, who fled the scene. The Camas Police found the suspect vehicle and arrested the two occupants.

This is an unpleasant reminder that crime happens everywhere. We all need to watch our own habits and keep an eye out for our neighbors as well. If you see something, or someone suspicious in the area, be sure to call 911. Let's do all we can to keep our neighborhoods safe. Thanks to Cindy Walker for getting this info to me for posting !!!!

Spring is right around the corner. Some of the bulb flowers are poking their shoots through the ground in our yard and probably yours too. If you look closely you'll see the buds forming on the trees. New growth. Rebirth. And the rains will be behind us. I'm so excited. It's definitely time to order seeds or plants from your favorite nursery and plan the design for your yard or garden. We're putting in raised beds this year so my 84 year old Dad will still be able to get out and dig in the dirt.

If you're getting a head start on your spring cleaning remember to post any items for sale, or garage sales on the classified page. If you don't want to bother with a sale, be sure to check out some of the charitable organizations on the Merchant Page for a place to drop off any donations that you may have.

If your family's made the decision to add a furry member, be sure to go to the SW Washington Humane Society to visit the four legged bundles of love who are waiting for a forever home. Adopting can save a life and fill yours with love all at the same time. Now that's a WIN~WIN!!
